The WAPS project – Workplace reported violence Associated with Psychiatric Staff – Characteristics of self-reported workplace related violence and threats associated with mental health staff
Aim
The overall aim of this mixed method study is to generate knowledge on how mental health staff report and describe situations of violence and threats (trigger-situational typologies). In addition, we investigate associations between incidence rate of violence and threats against coercion, type of ward, staffs education and seniority, trigger-situational typologies, time of incident, age and gender on ward and subject level when possible.
